This week I’ve finally felt like I was coming back into my own. I’ve finally been into a making attitude and pursuing ideas for projects. I'm working on a glitter worm project and started sculpting an angler fish. I don't know why I am currently focused on the deep sea but its what I’m interested in so I’ll pursue it for now.
I’ve started working on cutting up the frame of the old soda kiln at UofL It is satisfying, but also exhausting to deconstruct a kiln. I can't wait to build the new one!
It was great having Marret in the space. I really hearing her speak to her process and getting an inside perspective of the craft market world. I don't think I will ever be a full time potter who makes their living selling pots but I appreciated learning about what the current market is and how she navigates it.
